Looks like they just ported the developments they had previously done for the VK45DD to the VK45DE.

Interestingly, the DE is attributed as being more powerful than the DD. Shouldn't work that way, theoretically.

If you like the IMPUL kit, I think stillen has some for sale. This is the kit that is on my car, and they list it on their site. I have some time off tomorrow, and I will be contacting stillen (promise)

I am going to inquire as to how many kits they have remaining, and also verify they are the IMPUL kit.

I'm also guessing the stillen exhaust is probably more or less a copy of the Impul unit. I could take some pics and compare.

Anyway, I will be contacting stillen tomorrow. I'll let you guys know what I find out.

My exhaust is rotten (where the heat shield bands were) and I'm waiting for Hitmans SS exh. kit to hit then I can put on my JDM exh. mans. too. Some people have said the frt. clip from '94 - '96 won't fit '90 - '93 .

Yea, if you check out that impul page.. the picture on the left, is actually a 90-93.. It's deceptive because it has a grill, but that is just an add on. Here is a pic of my car with the impul front end... It's a little beat up..

The Q on the left, has the same kit as my car.. The difference is it has the aftermarket grill (which I will not be putting back on) and the body kit isn't color matched to the rest of the car

I'm contacting stillen soon, to see if they have any of these kits left

Is it a replacement hood and bumper, or cut and fit? previous owner's kid hit something and pushed in the hood next to the badge LH (a 7/16" crease). hard to see unless the lights right. I'll scour Stillens website (every body here poo-poos them for their pricing so I never check them for anything). Saw a Black on Black 2000 E55 (before the brake probs) for sale at a dealer around here asking $40K, I'm not tempted til I have cash in hand, but the price drop is calling my name. There fore I'm not sure how far I want to go on this thing anymore, outside of the EXH. But a grill ! I'd still like to see that in the drive.

It's a full kit, that fits with the current body.

The front is a lip, that attaches to the front bumper.. The rear valiance should just hook up to the rear bumper...

I hate to say it but the only body style (in new lux cars) that I really like is the Lexus (LS 400?) ad where it's on a turntable or rather a spit, where the voiceover says the underside has dimples. and the smoke flows freely. That's a nice body style. Too bad Toyotas are so cheap (IMHO). I've done about all I want to this car now without spending a lot on it. I'll compose a list of everything I've done in the last SEVEN years to it. It's long, I know since I saved every receipt and did everything myself. Sorry I didn't mean to bum out your thread.
