On picture 11 I can't figure out the 180. Is it kilometers or miles?

On pic 16 I REALLY like the rear vents. That's something I would love to do to my Q. As far as the screen goes, I'm not sure that I like it that low. However I'd have to watch something on it to form a better opinion.

I think it's hysterical that evrything written on the control buttons, is mixed in both English and Japanese.

Also, I'm not sure if he's got a flat and is using a piepan as a spare or that he just likes the way it looks with one(1) piepan on the front driver side.

All that aside I've never been a fan of the way the President model looks. I'm pretty sure it's because of the front grill. I think it's ugly.

As far as "Deal or no Deal" I say NO DEAL.

Picture 11 says km/h right above the odometer

Mmm, deal or no deal? Although I would really love to have something like that, not being able to read anything, and the fact the car is so old and would be almost impossible to fix up (at least for me) I would say not worth it

It looks worth the price, depending on engine condition. I would test drive it and if it had good power I would buy it.

$1950 is a fuggin' steal for all the parts you could pull off that car, IMO.

Especially if you can keep it around indefinitely as a parts car and pull mechanical goodies off it long after you've scavenged the tasty JDM body panels.

I just wish I could get my hands one one. I love the look of the car, back and front but especially the rear. I'd love those seat backs and the clock. I'm wondering if the center console is custom? Seems it eliminates the arm-rest because it's so high. The steering wheel is a cheezy looking wood. It's an active too...take a look at the strut towers.

Their website estimates that shipping by container will range from $2000 to $2500.

With that in mind, does $4000 sound reasonable?

Seems low to an East Coast port thru Panama and then trucked to your home. It cannot be titled or driven in US without be emission tested by EPA and converted to US safety standards bumpers, lights, etc.

The JDM clock would be pretty trick...maybe a group buy on this?

I don't know about y'all, but I never did like the President styling - it's too clunky looking.

Is the Japan spec tuned different? i.e. - bigger injectors, different mapping, cams, etc.?

The engine is the same except with a more advanced ECU.. I have the JDM ECU and when i ran my car its definitely more powerful... NIce smooth power... I like it!

I think the presidents style looks better in lighter colors and when its lowered... However, i still almost prefer the 94 Q style... However, the presidnt sure is a unique loook, something you cant get for MUCH much money here inthe states...

The "clunky" look has always been part of the appeal imo... it doesn't try to pass itself off as a sports car or even a sporty car (although for a big sedan it is way sportier than any of toyota's equivalents). It's got an "i'm all about presence and vip, aerodynamics be damned" look about it

obviously we cant compare a 90s car to a 2006.. Lets compare apples and apple!

1995 Bentley Turbo RL

1991 Rolls Silver Spur III

Its not perfect but the idea is there.

IMO thats a steal. Aside from the ugly stearing wheel, this car is pimp. The back end looks great. The car has some of the same options as the new body Q and some options that even the new Q doesnt have. I would replace the leather, slam it and get some nicely fitted jdm wheels and the car would be one of the badest on the street.

But I really like the Nissan President

If nothing else, it would make one helluva parts car.

You're right.

Even if you compare just the 90s versions, I still think it's a little far fetched.

There seems to be a lot of people that like the president look.I personally like the Q look better. But that's just my opinion.

I think the center console is custom, but I'm still surprise how nicely the President was equipped. I'd have a great time figuring out what each button does.

I tend to agree with you.. I was just pointing it out... IF you took a non nissan savy person, and showed them a picture of the car and asked them "what kind of car do you think this is", i bet they'd say a rolls royce or a bentley. I tried it once and thats what I got...

Id really like to see one in person, because we all know the G50s just dont look really good in pictures compared to in person.

Yeah, and you also have to keep in mind that it's almost not fair to call that roud thing a Bently. It's really a Volkswagen with a badge that jacks up the price.

I love the look of the President, but I still prefer the belt buckle. What I'd like to do is pick up a LWB President Sovereign and swap a belt buckle front onto it. That'd be awesome. Although RHD would drive me insane. Meh, I'd just swap the interior over to LHD using parts from my belt-buckle donor car...
