i got about 80% of the parts free, so i put them to good use, but yea, this along with doing some painting to cover up the cracks in my trim (its gonna be a similar color to the car), and center trim only, no vents or anything, except maybe gloss black vents instead of flat black, just maybe, let the flaming begin

I thought the gauges looked nice, not big fan of the lights but its not that ricey. Its all personal preference anyways, who cares what anyone else but yourself thinks? If you like it, thats all that matters.

i love it, its hardly noticable by day, looks nice at night, i like the extra light inside though, good for night driving, and it doesnt impair vision like the dome light or anything, plus its all stealthy tucked away, cant see it unless u try

just posted to get some opinions

I like under the seats and the gauges. Not too hot for the lights on the door though

I used a small neon in the center vents, a mid size neon in the side pockets a piece, an LED in each side vent, a neon under the rear of each seat, a cold cathode under the front of each seat, and 2 cold cathodes, one on each side of the dash, under it actually, I spliced into the wire for the cigarrete lighter and maybe a panel with 3 switches in it in place of the ash tray (i dont smoke), and tahts made of acrylic with these laser led's behind it. you can see some of the wires, but im gonna fix that in the summ,er its way too cold now, i also

the leds and cold cathodes are much smaller and brighter then the neons, but i got all the neons for free from my buddy.

the neons are hte ones u plug in but the cold cathodes are the kind u put in ur computer case (much smaller and brighter) and i cut up all the wires so there are no plugs (i need the lighter socket for my radar detector)

duno who makes the guagues honestly, i got em off ebay , makato autotrends, i believe, $25 plus shipping, coincidently, at sundays meet, an older talon tsi went by, with red neons inside, but right by then side windows near the roof, kinda dumb, get pulled over so fast, but yea, it all cost me about $60, gauges and lighting and all

not too shabby!

i have a thing for lights, but exterior lights. i want to get my hands on a set of super bright raybrig fog/driving combination lights. Since fog and foul weather is always an issue in these parts. And i live close to rural areas with lots of deer, so the extra lighting is very helpful.

I personally don't care for the extra interior lights thing, but it looks well done and relatively tasteful. Nice job!

i think they look pretty good. i like lights in the car. something about it makes it all spacey and techno like. i want more stuff in my car that has lights on it. i think its really cool when you get in the car at night and all these lights come on. i mean, car comes on and the radio, gauges, BC/SAFC thing(dont have one, just an example), maybe radar, and some lights like you have. i want some new gauges like those, too. i really like them. all in all, things look great.

and i like sky's idea too. i want to get the Canadian daytime driving lights and wire them up with my turn signals, and maybe get some fog lights, unless i get an aftermarket bumper, then jsut some fog lights like the raybrigs Sky said.

Seth, i looked at the DRL's, they're pointless, they're not intended as supplemental lighting, it's like having another pair of parking lights. I took out the grey ducting underneath the turn signals, and cut out the screw holes for them. i'm going to leave them empty like that. And i plan to get some rectangular lamps to reside within the center air dam. Raybrig, Piaa,Catz, or Hella is the way to go.

yeah, i figured that werent too bright, i mean PDM even says dont try to drive with them. i just wanted to get something different, but they kinda hard to get for a good price too, and i dont want to bother with the wiring. i might get the lights like you, i've seen it done before and it doesnt look bad. that or get them put in the air dam.

I love the gauges. I'm going back and forth on the other stuff, but it's definitely the best/classiest lighting job I've seen. Props!

for some reason I thought you were just gonna tell us you threw a bunch of light sticks in there...

doesn't look too bad, I think neons are a quilty pleasure of mine though...(I blame it on an M3 running them in an SCCA race, it was just too cool...)

the gauges at nighte

and by by day

they're white with a bit of silver to em, nad they come with an adjuster to change color from blue to green and they're own seprate dimmer switch, but the way its hooked up, it dims with the rest of the lights
