Longest shipping ever! (kinda long)
Ok, so my clip came in from japan to venus and i sent them the remainder of the payment on the 17th. They informed me that the clip shipped out on the 18th and would arrive in 3-4 days. So i do a bunch of trading days at work so that i can have friday-sunday off and free to work on the car all day. I expected to see the engine Tuesday the 22nd BUT no clip. So i call up the shipping company and they gave me the delivery date of Friday the 25th. Extremely late from what i was told but still i would have it in time for my preplanned weekend. Friday comes and goes and NOTHING. So i call them up again and ***** b/c after day 1 passes with plenty of **** to do and plenty of progress, the KA motor comes out. Now its Saturday w/ no clip and im pretty much doing nit picky **** jobs with little progress to show for it b/c I have no clip. So i call the shipping company up again and the guy says im gonna have to talk to his boss on Sunday the 27th to see if i will be able to get it on monday the ****ing 28th!!! I got lucky and went in to work, talked to my boss and traded AGAIN so that i can work on sunday and get monday off when i will hopefully get my clip that should have arrived 12 years ago. It wouldn't bother me so much if i hadn't arranged for the days off and the fact that my car is sitting in my friends shop on borrowed time. Anyone elses motor take this long to arrive?

yeah, the company venus uses sucks major balls. here's what happened with mine....
Venus has their shipping company get my phone number incase they need directions to my friends house where the clip was to be delivered. I wrote back and never got a confirmation e-mail or any response. Then a few weeks later I got a call from the place where it was dropped off to ANOTHER shipping company. The message was accidentally deleted and it took them two weeks to call again. I then had the clip scheduled twice and both times the dumb ***** driver didnt realize he needed to bring the liftgate to get the 1200LB front clip off his truck. smart guy, huh? then the third time it finally showed up and he was lucky i wasnt around to stick my boot up his dumb ***. All is good now, I guess. My clip didnt come with a few things but they were all being replaced anyway so it didnt really matter.
Thats my story! Hope it doesnt discourage too many people
