I've been visiting here for the past 4-5 months and just registered last night.

The wife and I are looking to buy a Pathfinder and 350Z in a couple of months. Question is, what would you experienced owners go with: a Touring Edit. Coupe or Enthusiast Roadster?

It will be a work car for me, a car for her to goof off in when I travel for work, and a date car when we go out.

The Touring Coupe has the Bluetooth capability which I like since I do alot of conference calls during the week (3 to 6 easy), but I love the idea of having a Roadster to go out in and put the top down. I can't afford to go all out with the Touring Roadster but do like the fact the Enthisiast is only $2K more than the Touring Coupe.

I figure I would post here and let you guys weigh in on the issue and see what your pros/cons are.

Speed and performance are not a factor of course - same motor and only a little weight. Not like I will be racing the car anyway.

Thanks!

It really depends on what YOU want . I think convert's are a waste in the long run ...Water & Cold air will eventually leak in, it's a loud ride, (even with the top up) and that's no good in ANY car. Unless you are planning on using the car only in the summer, I would go with the hard top. Plus i've had toooooo many of my friends loose more than just the stereo with a vert top...easy to break into .

I would get a Touring you do give up leather seats if you go w/ an enthusiast...the handsfree phone calls are SWEET! I will never miss a call again while driving-my vote goes to the Touring...just cant give up leather

I bought the 2007 Solar Orange coupe last April. The only thing I miss is leather seats, but you have to go all the way to a Touring for them and I did not think it was worth the extra money.
