when dealing with tires it's a trade off, you can have traction or treadlife, take your pick, me I always side with traction.... I buy lots of tires but at least I have fun while I have them, kumho ecsta mx are a fave but not cheap and they don't last very long

You could get Toyo's. There much cheaper that the Goodyear eagle F1's and right up there with performance. I paid 860 shipped for mine, using 245/35-19 and 275/35-19.

I was offered the TOYO but turned them down over the 452's. How are they? Soft or Hard? Long Lasting or not?

Thanks,

Toyo's are 10x better than stock. I just got them, so no clue on how long they will last. They grip WAY harder than stock rubber at it's peak.

Though it should be mentioned that I went with wider front and rear tires, so no more understear and better off-the-line traction.

I really enjoy my Falken FK452s. They aren't too pricey, but still have excellent grip and rain performance.

ZBAZ, avoid Goodyear at all costs. They wear out the quickest as their compound is very soft. The import stuff is new to me but I know there are many good tires out there for imports. More expensive but for excellent street/track I strictly stay with 1. Michelin pilot sports 2. Pirelli 3. or BF goodrich t/a KDW's. What ever you decide, I highly recommend buying from Tire Rack. They almost always have the best prices and cheap delivery in 3 days right to your door. Discount Tire is good but higher prices.

Yes the tread ware is pretty bad on the FK452'a but you cannot find a better tire for the price. They are great in the rain, and sweet on dry warm pavement. If you park your car a lot like i do, then they will last a long time. I've had mine since July and they still hide lincolns nose.....
