Long Island fellow 1997 240sx owner (need help)

If you have a 1997 240sx that can pass emissions I would like to know if you would be willing to help me out. I have a 1997 240sx with expired emissions and a broken evap system which causes the car to throw codes and turn on the engine light. Now my problem is that I would have to throw away 400 dollars to fix that problem while my car is in the process of being turbo charged and I need that money for the labor and also to purchase an AEM EMS which Im pretty sure would remedy my broken evap codes since you can basically program that thing anyway you want. Help would be greatly appreciated and also a fair price can be negotiated for the use of your car and time.
