Maine Coons are nice if you're a person that is into Golden Retrievers (IE: a very needy pet). My roomate has one and I dont like the thing because it's always walking around the house at night mow'ing for attention or trying to get my cat to play with him and waking me up.

My sisters cat did this. It would wake up at 5am when my dad got up for work, meow non stop while running up and down the stairs and then take a shower with my him.
