So I bought this car from my friend a while back it was gonna be my daily turns out she is just to much fun to drive daily so on with the guttting caging and such to get her autocross/drift worthier

The Previous owner bought it in 99 in 2004 he swapped the sr20det engine and manual transmission

new nismo engine and trans moounts

stage 2 exedy clutch--BROKE
Now has an ACT 6 puck sprung disk and HD pressure plate

full stainless steel tubular turbo manifold, 3" outlet pipe (common point of post turbo restriction), 3" down pipe, flex pipe, magnaflow high flow catalytic converter and rare espiler exhaust with a 4 inch outlet ( sounds amazing)

AC works which is uncommon in this swap from what i understand

300ZX tt LSD and 2 piston fixed rear brake setup
4 piston fixed front brakes off of a skyline

enkei 18x8.5 front and 18x9.5 rear wheels with a beautiful staggered offset

relocated battery to trunk to make room for the custom hot and cold pipes going to the large GReddy FMIC and a Blitz BOV

ported and polished throttle body by BDC Motorsports

all aluminum Koyo radiator with silicone hoses

high flow water pump

custom made full core dual fan shroud with dual electric fans and variable fan controller

300ZX tt fuel pump is installed in a brand new from nissan fuel tank

Tein flex coil-overs with pillow ball camber plates built in
nismo tie rod ends and pillow ball tension rods

power enterprises boost gauge and controller

fujita intake

seibon DV style carbon fiber hood

one german style glass headlight soon to be both!

nismo 270R 6 piece body kit to be installed.

energy suspension bushing kit

and a GReddy full auto turbo timer to be installed when the turbo is upgraded

I see well thank you for the explanation. and the reassurance. I like the shifter being closer to my steering wheel it makes it easier to shift less time without that hand on the wheel.

What, you've never heard of water pump cavitation on the sr20? Its not that uncommon to change them out for a higher volume unit.

My mother decided to name her that one day and it stuck

The factory shifter is back in for now turns out the "professional" one that was in there was leaking my gear oil everywhere!

the water pump that was bad was flat to the engine block the one that is on there now protrudes away somewhat i guess it would be high volume rather than high flow

Huh? Got a pic? If it's "raised" away from the block its a stock pump. Only other upgrade I'm aware other than an external electric is an S14 water pump which is an "upgrade" and a slight one if that at all.

Anyways good luck with the 240 , good start or better than most people get.

If that is an S13 SR, then an S14 W/P in an S13 is considered an upgrade.

I do have the S13 sr motor in my s14 and yes when the s13 pump went out it was replaced with the s14 sr pump! lol

I rant an electric water pump on the LS6 240sx.... they arent made for everyday use but AWESOME
