I priced out one of those Smarts just for giggles. It has a 1 liter, 71 HP engine. With Air, radio, and whatever else, it came to just under $13,000. For $99.00 you can order one. EPA mileage ratings were high too. Give it a couple of years and we'll be used to seeing them, maybe even, gasp, driving one.

That leaper is going to be extinct b/c next year they are no longer making the XJ8...it's being replaced by the new beautiful XF...which 1000% better looking and the nicest jag i've ever sat in...and I sat in all of them at the DC Car show this weekend.
