I wonder if Japaneses people look at our Crown Vics and Impalas, and think "Dude, that is so bad ***. I want big black metal bars to run over people with, and even better they have spot lights to blind them with too!"

I've always wanted to do this to my 240. Or at least put light in the inside like the unmarked cars they have. Next time that Cav passes me thinking he's some super NASCAR driver I'll scare the piss out of him!

i'm pretty sure that also falls under impersonating an officer which is a federal offense (?).. would be fun though.

i just lol'd at the 350Z cop, there is so much going on. From the clean Z, to the lambo doors, to the shorts and white socks, to the sunglasses, im all discombobulated now.

Nah, they're just my red day-running lights that I keep inside so they don't get stolen!

What's the purpose of the clear strips most of the Japanese cop cars have on the hood?

well i believe the 350z is a real cop car from arizona and if it isnt i know they have one that is all souped up to catch speeders on the free way.

i thought about painting my 240 like a cop car lol. but changed my mind.

and as far as pulling people over i have done that before to it was sweet lol. but it was a one time deal. pretty risky sh8t

I'm surprised no one mentioned this yet, but the first pics are of a 240 with fire-vehicle lights on it, not police lights.

I think one of the scariest moments in recent memory was when I saw the unmarked police Camaro running around my home town. For once I was glad for slow traffic lol.

i believe it varies from state to state. all cops here have blue lights and strobes and emergency vehicles such as fire trucks and ambulances have red lights and strobes. no blue lights are allowed on cars here except for on cop cars. my sister once got a fix it ticket because she had blue led wiper fluid squirters and valve stem caps as well as i knew a guy with blue underglow neons that got a fix it ticket. to be honest i think its funny because cop cars dont have any of the above listed parts on their cars.

It's because at night, in a rear view.. People glance up and all they see is the blue light. In a city, it's not bad... But go down a unlit road sometime and have someone get behind you with the blue windshield washer nozzles. At a glance, especially if you're tired, you'll think you're getting pulled over...
