In theory, a well made tubular equal length.

Yeah, I have one but haven't used it yet (engine went to the machine shop today :D:D:D) It's a very nice manifold, the welds are all nicely ground down on the runners, they just got new powder coating equipment so the powder coating should be fantastic on the new ones, and best of all, it's within 1/2 inch all around of being perfectly equal length (measured by yours truly). Personally, I really like the supports as well, makes it very solid feeling.

this topic has been thoroughly discussed several times. do a search on log and equal length manifolds. there's lots of good info to be found.

A little more information on the IAP manifold, I just got off the phone with Marc and learned the following: The manifolds are now in their 3rd generation configuration which includes an upgrade to full 1/2 in. thick flanges as opposed to 3/8 in., the tubing they are now using is 8 gauge with a 1.1 inch inner diameter (it's much thicker now) and the inside of all the runners is now honed as well. I believe you can also specify different colors to a degree with the manifolds but you'd have to ask him about that. I should have one of the new manifolds in my hands within a couple weeks and will post some pictures when I do. There is also a NICO discount which is of course, always nice :)

Ummm, the NICO price, I'm trying to remember....

Edit: found it, 649 shipped...definitely not a cheap manifold, but I feel it's worth it, especially with the no cracking warranty for a year and the fact that they just upgraded them substantially while maintaining the price.
