I've been having an intermittent issue when starting lately. When I turn the key the engine will crank and 'sieze' or lock. I turn the key off and usually the second try starts it. The last time this happened when the car started the cruise control set light was flashing. I shut thecar off, restarted and it was fine. Anyone ever have this happen?

Mine used to do it aswell. It would crank once then completely slow down to a stop and all the dash lights would dim. Usually it would crank and startup fine the second time.

Now that I'm talking about it the car hasn't done it. I have replaced the starter a few months ago. I just dropped in new NGK plugs a few days ago. Man what a difference.
I don't think the led security light was on and my fluids are all good. The only thing that has been different is the temperature. It's been cooler around here lately. Don't know if that could have anything to do with it.?
