Locking Bluetooth with Driver Profile

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Experts!

Was wondering that since we have two profiles for drivers that store seat/side mirror settings, does it apply to bluetooth too? My problem is that when I sync and connect my phone to the car, when my wife is driving using her profile settings, bluetooth still connects to me the non-driver(or her phone if she was the last one to connect).

What I am trying to say here is, is there a way to have her phone connect via bluetooth to the car when she is driving and connect to my phone when I am driving? Would make sense, wouldn't it?

Thanks!!

...That is an interesting dilemma

Unfortunately the ADP (Auto Drive Positioner system) does not save a phone to a key automatically. A priority can be assigned to a certain phone. The available paired phones can be chosen fairly easily but it will pick whichever phone is already stored higher in the stored phones list.

What year EX do you have?
What type of phones are you working with?

What happens when both of you are in the car? Which phone pairs first? Is it the phone that is located at the top of the list?

Hey StevetheTech!

Thanks! I have a 2010EX Journey Edition fully loaded. What happens is the last connected phone (iphones) connects when both of us are in the car. So if I get into the car and she is not with me and my phone connects with the car, later is she and I both need to go somewhere and we both have our iphones, the car connects with mine. Basically it connects with the last iphone it connected with.

It seems so simple to be able to include that in the ADP.

The adp is a seperate system and the Bluetooth is a function of the audio computer, it sounds easier to connect but not really, the ADP is a function of the BCM.

Were you able to assign a priority to one of the phones?
