Well i was listening to music in my 87 maxima (s13 undergoing clutch job) was in park when my friend came over to me, we started talking and i walked out of the car and locked it manually like usual. after i had steped out of the we continued to talk some more. About 3 hrs pass and i say im going home so she leaves. When i go back to my car to get my cd player i realize i don t have the keys. I desperatley look for them and i say to myself "**** in a cracker box" and i lean over and see my keys in the ignition. "O well i guess ill have to call triple A again" i say to myself. Idial and when they pick up they tell me there going to have to charge $45 for now on bc i maxed out all my free bees. $45!!!!!! WTF NO ****ING WAY was i gonna pay that for a locked door. SO i go into my house and get a clothes hanger, bent the end in a loop form and slipped it through the window and the rubber part. After about numerous stares and glances from my neighbors (this happned at night) ,i finally got it. YES!! I Saved $45 and i know how to pick old cars now, yay for me :) . i just thought id share this info with you guys :D

My Insurance company has Tow Insurance, which includes everything that AAA does, but thankfully there isn't a limited amount of trips/uses like AAA has .... because I don't want to think how much I would have had to pay 45 dollars :)

I'll be Mr. Obvious and say "Make sure you try/break in on the passenger side."

I locked mine in a couple times now, once at the store. I left it running(;) small town) and just accidentally bumped the doorlock on my way out the door. Figures, I was already a couple minutes late for work too. So i called the tow company and my employer and told him the sad tale. It only cost me 35 bucks though. no AAA.

That aint nothing. You wanna hear some messed up $hit. I go to start my car WITH my keys in the pooring rain and nothing. The battery is dead. So my friend come's over to see what's wrong and we decide to jump it. Well i got out and shut the door cuz it was raining, opened the hood and started to hook up the cables. I left the key in the accy position which shows all your indicator light and junk, yeah.....don't do that. Well when the last cable was attatched we heard a Thwuck. We were like, "what the hell was that?" I go around to the drivers side door to start it and the door was locked. What the hell? The auto lock feature kicked in when we attatched the cables. DOH! Well i had the alarm clicker in my pocket thank god. I had separated the key from the clicker because the battery was dead. All we had to do was run to Target and get a clicker battery and it opened just fine. We were pretty soaked after that tho.

Here is a bit of stupidity, I always but my keys in my pocket when I get out of my car. So one night we are all in a hurry to get to a club and we stop to get gas. I put the keys in my coat pocket and then spend 20 min. lookin for them because I always put them in my jeans pocket. I even asked the lady at the register 3 times if she had seen them. I finally realized where they were and made myself lookk like a complete ***.

Locked em inside the car at school, so I had to call my dad to bring the spare. From then on I always carry a spare key in my wallet.

i've done the same thing twice, good thing i keep my spare in my wallet. i can't drive with my wallet in my back pocket so i usually put it in my center consol, i'd be screwed if i didn't grab my wallet and left my keys in the ingnition and locked the door ;o)

I locked my keys in my 89 civic, so I had to break into my car to get them. I took a screw driver and jamed it between the window while i stuck my arm through the crack and unlocked it. And no I didn't have a hanger or something long enough to unlock the door.
