They sound like they fit.

To give you an idea of offset, here's a a couple of pictures help get the visual:

20x9 with a 30 offset (Front) 20x10 with a 35 offset (rear)

Here are my wheels:20x8.5 +3520x10 +44

Even though they're 20" and I'm dropped on Eibachs, they don't rub the fender and they're flush.

Hope this helps

I'm intrested in getting staggered would a 20x10 and a 30mm offset work on an 08 m35?

I have to say I love the look of your car! The wheels you have are pretty close to what I would want, but not quite. I really wish there was a good median wheel offset to choose from so I could run the same offset all the way around and still utilize the wider look that fits the wheel well almost perfect.Any wheel size/ offset to recommend to fit my needs?? I still want to be able to rotate my tires is the reasoning....

They are not a bad looking wheel by any means, but I really think a more open wheel looks a lot better on the M's. IMO.

I can think of two other reasons not to have a close to closed in type wheel:

1. Brakes will get hotter due to not having enough ventilation. (hot rotors equal: warping, heavy glazing, short pad life, & longer stopping distances)

2. More wheel material equals more weight. The heavier the wheel, the longer it takes to accelerate and stop.Check the weight of the wheel and compare against other wheels.

*One other thing to add, I see you are looking at a 19" wheel. Have you thought about the 20" wheels? The 19" wheels give you less choices on tires. Plus the price of 19" tires cost more. 20" wheels & tires are more mainstream which equates to more choices and cheaper priced tires.

I understand we all have our preferences, but I still would like to point out the effects a wheel like this "could" inflict on your ride.

how much are you dropped?

those specs will "fit" but it depends what look you want. For instance our OEM wheels "fit", but I think they are waaaaaay to sunken in and are not flush enough with our fenders so they need to be pushed out w/ spacers.

the offsets you listed will fit and the wheels wont' rub even with fat tires (245 up front 275 in the rear), but depending on how much you are dropped they may not be that flush with the car.

nice wheels though, like the look and finish. Those are more VIP so if that is the look you want and are going to really drop. Then those specs may be too weak for a VIP fitment.

I also agree with M45t, to look at 20s to fill up our wheel well more, our Ms are pretty big. Lots of options at 20...

but if you are going for VIP I can see the 19s, but the offsets will be too weak, esp if you are going bags.

depends. if you get bags (maybe even stretch tires) this will fit easy.

if you have just a mild drop - this may rub in the rear, even with stretched tires. Look at the post above with the 20x10 +35 offset, that is pretty damn near or past flush. getting a +30 in the rear may give you a rub...

+30 offset in the front on a 20x8.5 wheel would be no problem on a mild drop.

What offset does that silver M35 use? I'm a bit confused on which offset is whos? The car that shows the complete side view.

I think that poster said...

Here are my wheels:20x8.5 +3520x10 +44

which refers to the two lower pics and not the top pic

+44 for the rears? I would have thought they would poke past the fender at that offset. Though it looks like it's dead even with the fender edge. Maybe 1-2mm out past fender....I'm not sure.

My aftermarket rims on my car were suggested not to go below +40 due to them sticking out past the fender. I agree that 20's are more mainstream than the 19's. The wheels lood good with the drop.

If you want aggresive and not have to do any work on your M and still have fat tires than +36 will be fine. I would even say +35 is fine.

you will have no rub.

most wheel companies will be conservative, not a bad thing, just what is done. modders will always push it....

This is +38 20x10 275 tires... dropped. And I still have room to push it out 2-3mm to make it a +36 or +35

I take it you're not running a staggered set up? I really love the look. We bought a non-sport because we found one with all the interior features we wanted at a good price, knowing at some point soon we would replace the wheels and tires. If you don't mind, what kind of wheels are those?

I am staggered. 20x8.5 fronts 20x10 rears.

the wheels are Auto-Couture Lative, brushed finish, w/ clear coat (so I can polish and wax them like the car) hehehe

sorry to jack OP....
