Does anyone know if you can order new lock cylinders for the doors, ignition and glove box based on your key code? Reason is i just got my S13 Silvia rear trunk badge/lock conversion and it has a WAY cool Japan only key with it, and i want to use it instead of my crappy all metal thin blade looking key. I have the key number on the new key/lock and want to get new locks for the rest of the car. Any help would be great.

PS Reason i ask this is i believe a locksmith cant convert our locks to different keys, i believe they are made special. If im wrong, please let me know!
