Lock and Unlock Horn stopped working

Hey everybody,

Brand new to this forum and already am a fan. I bought a 2010 nissan altima and after I disconnected the battery and the unlock and lock horn does not work anymore. The window would not auto up, but after i looked around on nico i found out how to fix that. SO my problem is the horn will not beep and no sounds will be made when i lock and unlock my car. If you can help that would probably save me a trip to the dealer and who knows how much money...

You can try to hold the lock and unlock on the FOB at the same time outside of the vehicle until it honks, if it doesnt you can have the dealer turn it back on. It's part of the answerback system on the multifunction remote.
