location of amps

hey everyone... i was wondering if anyone could tell me where i could find the front and rear speaker amplifiers on the S14's.i want to change them, but i need to find out where they are first thanks!

ok, open the trunk, stick your head in, and turn over on your back. you should be looking up at a silver bulk between/beneath your rear speakers. Those are the amps. Mine are FUBAR but I'm saving for a BRM instead.

I think they all suck, mine were FUBAR too so I got rid of em. They were a pain to get out though, that connector is a b*tch

true that. When I'm playing a cd or just the radio, the sound randomly moves around the car. You can follow the sound with your head, left right front back . Some times it sounds as if someone is playing with a location device.

And the right Speaker is crackiling like a small bomb is about to go off.

Waiting for BRM to go on then for Best Buy to get Alpine products before I yank the amps and headunit. Best Buy discounts kick a$s !!

yea, i'm looking into taking mine out as well. anyone know if they are worth anything? how much do they weigh as well?
