Locating Transmission Filter?

I am changing my transmission fluid & filter in my 2004 Nissan Maxima, but I cannot find where the filter is located. Help does anyone know where it is/how t ... F be used? Thanks!

First off, welcome. Secondly, I have an 04 as well and there is no transmission filter on this car. I would definitely recommend using the Nissan specifid fluid, especially if you have the 5 speed automatic like I do. The transmission dipstick will tell you what fluid it uses. If it says Matic K, you have the 5 speed auto. If it says anything else, it's the 4 speed auto. Let me know if you have any other questions.
