Let me ask this question... The point of a wing is to make down force on the rear wheels of a RWD car right??? Why do people with FF cars use them??? God dam I hate Rice

Well it wouldnt be jDm tYt3 yO!!111!! They've probly seen the blonde guy in fast and furious put one on his eclipse and thought..hey, thats a good idea. (i dont think that one was AWD). Anyway....I bet if u asked that kid about his car, no doubt he would say "yea i put this bodykit on it to keep it nice and clean" I've watched many vids and read in many magazines, and everytime there is a ricer talking about his car, they always say its clean.

Well that is one of the reasons why, but why put one on a car that is FF? Here are the others, at high speeds where aerodynamics start to matter which I believe is somewhere around 88mhp maybe more. Now what a rear spoiler also does is at those high speeds help keep the car stable and also more maneuverable and easier to go around turns. Also under braking it helps keep the rear end planted, Im sure sometimes when you decelerated very hard from a very high speed you might have felt the rear end twich a little here and there. A rear spoiler is supposed to minimize that twitching. But the spoilers that some of these reicers put on are just for looks and have absolutely no aerodynamic benefits, at least I don't think they do.

race teams put wings on front wheel drive cars to increase grip on the rear wheels. its not like the drive axle is the only one that matters. i think i hate people who bash fwd cars with wings even more than people who put aluminum wings on civics. i cant stand when people think that rwd cars should have super wide rears with narrow front tires and fwd cars should only have front spoilers. go drag race somwhere else
