Hey CakeDaddy What is "Fresh"..?CakeDaddy wrote:damn... twice in 90 days! Be careful not to break anything on that loaner. They'll charge you, plus its under your insurance. Treat it as if it were your own, but have fun in the process. Any posted videos with burn-outs, donuts, cart wheels, two wheel action, etc.. may come back to haunt you, so I'd advise against that. I know a couple of guys at the local infiniti dealership here and they look at fresh and nico, so.....
its another infiniti forum sitemaqueswell wrote:Hey CakeDaddy What is "Fresh"..?
calm down! Lets not start bashing FRESH. Its nice to have two different active forums on these cars. Be nice.maxnix wrote:It is a great forum for owners who think putting oversized wheels and undersized tires on their car is a performance "mod."
Caug, you must be inhaling brake cleaner again. I can't wait to turn in that turd g35 loaner in when I have one. I can't stand the sound of the v6 straining to get up to speed.saeedakobiakov wrote:you would not want yours back after driving loanner. unless you like boat feel of m 45, of course.loaner is faster too.
Whoaaaa whoooaaa!! I knew this would get ugly. Mr.Qship, lets give Jbillion a chance to come clean up after himself before we do anything drastic. I respect your zeal, but fall back a little bit.qship96 wrote:Wouldnt be that difficult to contact the handfull of Infiniti dealers in the greater Chicago area and find out which one has Jesse Marcano`s m45 in for service and forward a copy of his post to them......something tells me they would FIND some damage to their loaner vehicle that they would hold him accountable for and permanently suspend his loaner priviliges,and share this info with all surrounding dealers......feelin lucky Jesse?????

Drove a G35 6MT Sedan and an M45 back to back off the dealer's lot. The G35 handled better and was probably a little faster, but the Y34 did it effortlessly while the VQ35DE above 5K was not very happy.nmgoodthing wrote:I can't stand the sound of the v6 straining to get up to speed.
Yup! Exactly one of the main reasons I bought the 2003 M45 (other reason was the unique look of the 2003 M) instead of a 2003 G35 that my wife and I had gone in to actually purchase.maxnix wrote:Drove a G35 6MT Sedan and an M45 back to back off the dealer's lot. I think that's exactly what AlQaeda determined.candymanfb wrote:It's a free country still ... Do what you want, but be prepared for the consequences if you do something STUPID! Make sure you have fun while you're doing it!
Cake, I decided to take your advice and not post any video's or "abuse" the loaner car. I guess I am a growing up a little. I got my M back and all they changed was an O ring on the fuel sending unit. They said there the resistance on all of the components was within tolerance. Although the last 2 fill-ups, the gauge read full and I still had to add over 14 gallons of gas. Next time it happens, I will just drive it into the dealer, while the gauge is reading incorrectly.CakeDaddy wrote:

This would be my exact review of the 07 G35 S. Although the handling was much better on the G, it seems to struggle to get the acceleration that is effortless on my M. It was hard to tell which was faster at 0 - 60, but 60 - 120 seems to be much better on the M.maxnix wrote:Drove a G35 6MT Sedan and an M45 back to back off the dealer's lot. Ended up with an FGY33 because it was too good a deal, but if not, then it would have been the Y34 because we could not find a decent G50 even back then.
QSHIP, your post seems to be a bit of a contradiction, you have a problem with someone "abusing" a loaner car, but you recommend that the dealership vandalize a vehicle under their care?qship96 wrote:If I ever see someone abusing a loaner, I make note of the tag # and call the Infiniti dealer. Why? because there is no reason a few fukkups should be allowed to potentially cause the dealer to discontinue offering loaners to all customers because some want to be jackholes with another persons property.I always suggest the techs place a few teaspoons of sand in the customers crankcase as appropriate payback- wonder if they ever take me up on it?
. Its all good. I was only looking out for you. hmm O ring. I hope I never have this problem. covered under warranty?jbillion wrote:

FWIW, I would not do anything to the loaner car that I wouldn't do to my own. Before I purchased new tires, I was doing all kind of meneuvers in the back of the work parking lot. Also, the loaner car I got was already kinda beat up. The passenger door will not power unlock, there were quite a few cigarette burns on the headliner and a lot of scratches and scapes on the paint.

I realize how difficult it is to start a business, especially in this economy. I am in a sales role, and it is the closest thing to owning your own business because my production direclty effects my income and I have to provide top service to my clients.qship96 wrote:Jesse, as a small business owner,I understand and respect the effort and sacrifice that every business owner makes in starting and growing their business{including the owner of the dealer whose loaner you were so willing to abuse}
If you take a few minutes and put yourself in that owners shoes and realize the risk,energy,and damn hard work it takes to operate a business you would understand where I am coming from.....your response shows a selfish wonton attitude and lack of respect for other peoples interests.
