Is this a good idea? We're moving out to SC from WA with probably a 25' moving truck and are planning on attaching a flatbed trailer to it for our Z. We did this with an old Acura RL before and worked out well. I'm guessing that it will be fine, but does anyone have any tips or things to avoid? Has anyone done this for a long distance move and have any recommendations? Is one moving company better than the other, should I be asking for a specific type of flatbed trailer?

Any advice would be appreciated!

After chaining it down make sure you put blocks under the front and rear and both sides of the wheels. Should be fine seen simular hauls like that.

use a long ramp with a slight slope to load it and use the strap tie downs on each wheel one for each and chains or tie downs for the front and back 2 back 2 front so u have 8 points holding it down and dont forget the e brake /parking brake cause if its auto trans puting it in park is not enofe use the parking brake/ e brake

Thank you for the hints! I will definitely do the hand brake. Didn't think about that one.
