Load Index on tires

Hi,
Can we go to 105 load index when it came with 101 or should we strict to 101 load index only, this is for 2021 SL model. Dealership advisor said to be with 101 and when went to Costco tires, suggesting for 105 which is an XL load, confused

You can always go to a higher index than OE, just never go lower. The only drawback is that a tire with a higher index at the same profile will generally ride "stiffer" than the lower indexed tire.
