Hey everyone, this is my first post. I've lived in Japan for a little over 2 years now, and I will be leaving in about 6 months. I'm going to buy a RB25DET and transmission for my rps13 back in the states. Any helpful info is welcome. Anyways my main question is, what parts would be a good idea to stock up on that are hard to get in the states? I.E. Sensors, belts, etc... ya know, general maintenance parts. I know nissan is pretty good about having interchangeable parts and all but I've never dealt with a JDM engine before.

Later.

I dont know if prices are cheaper in japan but if they are go ahead and buy everything u think ur going to need like the n1 water pump and oil pump and **** get a bigger turbo wile ur there, it dont have to be new ether and i would also get **** for the 240 like hard to get parts here im pretty sure u know what they are.

everything is pretty hard to come by. if i had the cash flow i'd seriously consider getting 2 of everything. maybe 2 clips or something. it's cheaper over there right? go to local junkyards etc...

or any after market stuff u want get it now while u can. prices should be much less than wat most wanna charge here.

or get a skyline! not sure exactly how the law works in terms of importing your own car with you if a person is coming from another country but i think i heard it was easier than importing one while living in US.

good luck
