Live Witness 335i vs G35 Street Race...

So I was at my buddies place today and behind the house is this long empty road. Shortly I heard some engine revving. I looked out the window and saw a G35 second gen sedan (Seem to be a loaner, with dealership stickers) and a 335i sedan side by side. Its obvious that there are going to be some street race.

Rather than reporting them, I decided I sit back and watch the show =P They went at it twice and the result was the same. The 335i pulled quickly right at the beginning away from the G, but eventually stuck behind the 3 with about 1 car length distance. My buddies house is on top of a small hill and can witness the complete race. I was tempted to bring my EX35 to see how it compare as well, but didn't bother cause I pretty much know the result. haha

After the second race, we thought why not go down and meet them. They were getting ready to leave, but we managed to catch them right before that. We talked for a few mins and confirmed the G was definitely a loaner. We also realize that both cars were automatic. Sounds fun - just wanted to share this since as much as I read about the comparison of the 2. I've yet to see a live race prior till today. That is all.

What year G?? 2005/2006 then?

Both stock?

and the g was about a car length behind?

Not bad...i'm sure it would pull with some mods.

I had a G loaner recently as well and it was pretty fun to drive. The loaner gotta be stock right? lol The 335i I didn't really ask, but it doesn't look modded at all. Plus I believe both of them are 08. Did I made a mistake by saying second gen? I don't know G too much =P

I've Owned a few 335i sedans... No Joke... it just depends on how you launch it.

2nd generation is the V36 model, 2007 and newer. 2003 to 2006 is first generation, V35 model. 05 and 06 were series 2 first gen. 09 is gen 2, second series.
