yea the previous company thought the budget was tooooooooo huge, so they backed out. so now, another company is doing it.

Jay as Takumi Fujiwara

Edison as Ryousuke Takahashi

Stephan as Seiji Iwaki

suzuki anne as Natsuki Mogi

many of these are hong kong actors, except for one taiwanese actor and a japanese actress. so i will assume it to be in cantonese, coz at least it's alot easier to get the japanese girl to speak cantonese for a little bit than to make all those chinese actors to speak japanese!

Damn, Suzuki Anne is hot. Takumi's hair is too long.

If they get the cars and driving right, everything else is just details. They'd better pick a good Bunta.

There's a good reason to go see the movie right there.

Awesome info. I'm a big fan of the manga... I don't really watch the anime much. I wonder who will play Iggy... that annoying little bastard. Any idea of a release date?

Wow really cool i think i saw bunta about 80% through the trailer somewhere... And I hope they come out with an english subtitle version or something, because they look like they actually spent some money on good drivers and real nice cars and stuff.

Thanks HKChick!Bunta doesn't look quite old enough... Iggy looks a little too old... but hey, it's good enough. I'm just glad it didn't land in the hands of a US production company who would undoubtedly "Fast & Furious"-ize it with ridiculously inaccurate terminology, crappy aesthetics and terrible acting.

2 things.

1) It may still yet...

2)Its possible that they WOULDNT eff it up if we made it here, but most likely they would...

So a new company is doing it? I heard Jackie Chan was producing, is that from the old one?
