little vinyls in front of rear wheels

what are they? and why do they yellow. can i remove them?

They are there to protect from chips, etc. Most people here remove them.

I did it, I would recommend it. One tip is do it when the car is dry and DONT use a heat gun or dryer. Just use your hands and pull slowly.

It will without question leave some residue left over. Just take some goo gone and a rag and it'll come right off.
