Little Question about Tach.

my friend has 240sx with rb20, engine working fine but the tach not showing just stays at 0rpm, is there anything that can be fix with wiring or something?

Is the sending unit for the tach hooked up? Are you receiving a signal at the tach? What tach / instrument cluster are you using?

single cam tach wont read the rb's tach signal...also you have to wire it in.

so do u kno what wire that need to make it work? just wondering, or do we had to take the dashboard out for tweak or something?

Your current tach will not work. You have to convert it to a DOHC cluster or send your SOHC cluster to Carl to modify it for you.

Wiring is simple, run your tach signal wire from your ECU to the tach signal wire on the dash harness. One wire, done.

OFFTOPIC/THREADJACK but... i know the rpms on a SOHC cluster wont work but how about the speedometer

the car hasnt driven yet, its having problem when we trying to make it move it stalled right away, even at about 2500 rpm it stalled, we trying to fig it out whats going on
