Just got home and back on NICO for the first time over the thanksgiving holiday... Computer died on me while I was up there...

Anyway, we had a little impromptu meet... Attended were

Wes (elwesso)- 1994 Q45t- You knowJesda- 1992 Q45- Green, chrome piepans, massage feature deleted, and suspension sound effectsLou (louiegz)- 1995 Q45- purple, low miles, very nice driving Q (top percentage of ones ive driven, drives MUCH smoother than my Q)...Fred- 350Z.. His car is worth as much as the 3 Q put together, if not more...

Had a good time. I was actually the last one there and I set up the meet! Ate at applebees, and it was fun times... Lou is a great guy, and glad i could meet up with him. Has a very nice Q, some scratches from being in the city, but all in all, a very nice car....

After lunch, we beat the crap out of each others cars. Couldnt go too fast because there were LOTS of cops around, saw at least 3 people get pulled over in about a 15 minute span... Lou's engine undercarriage shield thing was dangling, so we took it to Big-O tires and they fixed it for free... Then they went home, Jesda came back to my house for a little while, we beat the crap out of my car for a little while (he liked the brakes ) and did a little "offroading"... The tires are good, but not THAT good...

All in all, fun... I personally like the small meets as much if not more than the big ones because then you actually get to talk to everyone...

Nice pictures.

It looks like Jesda parks like an Old person. You know those lines on the ground, well, you're supposed to stay between them .

I think that Fred's 350Z looks the best out of all those cars. Did you guys compare the Q to the 350Z? Speed wise, I mean?

I'm glad I got to meet some of NICO's best on Friday. I'm hardly ever in that part of the country with my car, so this was the perfect opportunity to meet you guys. I'd like to thank Wes, Jesda, and Fred for taking time from their holiday and meeting up with me. I haven't been around this many Q's since I went with my dad to buy this Q. I had a very good time. I wish you guys lived closer. I would have liked to have had more time to drive Jesda's Q and Fred's Z, but I had to meet up with my wife and her family in Dayton. I will see if next time I go back to Dayton for Thanksgiving, I will try my best to get together with all of you again. Wes, you have a nice Q. It's a good replacement to the Crimson one. It has some good power and I realy liked the Level 10 transmission. I didn'y get to do any highway driving, but I enjoyed the sprint to the redline on first. Very nice shifting transmission. I hope you enjoy it for many years. If you guy's ever make it out east, look me up.

Oh, by the way, it's dangling again. Since he did it for free, I got my money's worth. It was still very nice of the Big O guy hooking me up.

WHy don't you just put the screws that hold it on back in?

Did the screws rip out?

If so, I would suggest drilling new holes. And when you go to refasten it, put 1/2in washers on the nut/bolt that you use.

Or, you could just take it off completely. A few members, including myself, have removed it and not noticed any adverse effects.

Or, you do it the PMQ way and get out the roll of Duct Tape and put it back on

Maybe (seriously) fasten it on with something that wont fall out unless you intentionally remove it... like bread ties? Just throwing some ideas out.

You'll have to wait a few years until I get a new Infiniti and sell the Q. I would realy like a NICO member to buy my Q when I'm ready to move on.
