I've been crunching numbers and 3400lb car with 345hp

I just weigh'd my 240 with me in it 2640lb with me in it! I need to try to get it down to about 2200 but ill see not much left. Im going with a welded diff after hearing about 1.5, and 2 way aftermarket then skimming about obx. Anyways lincoln locker it is especially since its only driven to a driftspot/track/or strip.

Ive got a T3 rb turbo and can only afford fmu/walbro right now so im going to just go with 5psi emusa gate. You guys probly know where this is going....

A)up the boost to i guess 10 psi just for a couple passes

or

B) get a WET nitrous kit and run a 50 shot......or 40 what ever small maybe even a sneaky pete since im runnin 8:1 fmu

 i know im cheap i have another motor sittin on the stand if it goes blows no big

Being cheap and trying to get bigger hp = boom. 10psi will max out something. I don't mess with nitrous but that seems it would max out the injectors.

hehehe.... yea guess ima build me a bomb ill let yall know how it goes

Why would nitrous max out injectors the maf would never know the diff. and O2 sensors dont matter at WOT. intake air temp would change trims a tad......ima say it be all good.

Im trying to do it half right fuel lines are rated for 100psi so im tryin to stay under that. Ive read guys runnin 10-12 with 8:1 fmu im goin to say that is a VERY bad idea and that a Very small nitrous squirt would be safer???

Thanks for the input 282!!!!!!!!!! yeesh

^ i wish i had the know how to build my own megasquirt....well more or less the funding to test/tune

Has anyone ever used a efi motor cycle power commander on a car? << i think it acts the same way that greddy emange does with fuel wiring add-on which happends to also end up costing to much for what it is.....

How bout that idea?

Just run nitrous. The motor itself will handle close to 500hp before things start bending and breaking. That assumes you have a good tune though.

Stay at or under 10psi with the FMU. Retard your base timing 2-5 degree's if you boost over 8 psi. If you run nitrous, retard the base timing 2degree's per 100shot on a wet kit. So for 50 you need 1 degree of retard on top of the retard you already have. Basically don't run more then 15* of timing if you're going to use nitrous and boost.
