Whats up guys,

So my girl just picked up a 07 Scion TC and wants to do a little work to it ( coilovers, exhaust, wheels)

I know nothing about the TC's and was wondering if anyone could help me out on what kinda suspension is out there for them and what not. Also what kinda offsets on wheels and to look for as well was sizes ( I think stock is like 17x7).

I signed up on a scion forum and they all started bashing me and not helping at all ( maybe because my name was 95zenki man?) anyways i figured id come to the best car forum on the web and see if y'all could help me out.

Anyways just wanted to say thanks in advance to anyone that can help me out. and if this isn't the right section would someone please move it to where it should be.

Go with TRD parts. They offer coils, wheels, sway bars, BBK and exhaust for the TC.

Shes not looking to spend TRD prices i don't think.

Nothing more then $800-$1000 on coils, ( I was thinking megan's? but i don't know whats good for these cars)

She wants a nice 5-6 spoke wheel( I was thinking rota grids? 17x9)But like i said i don't know offsets or sizes that work.

I actually like first-gen tCs a lot. Unfortunately I know nothing about them mod-wise.
They look great in dark grey with some 5- or 6-spoke wheels.

2nd gen tCs look like crap. :(

You should be able to get something better than Megan for that price. As far as wheels, if she isn't racing it, there's really no need to go that crazy on wheels. I would find a set of wheels you like with similar offset to stock and call it a day. You change the wheel too much, you're going to have to buy tires which throws even more money at it.

Or, you could go a different route and leave it stock for now and throw all that money at the car payment and get it paid off quicker. Just sayin..

Her moms covering the car payment... Like i said its not me doing this its her I'm just helping her find all the stuff and most likely will be putting it all on.

The car is dark gray and it is a 5 speed...So i guess ill have to teach her to drive a stick now to.

I found tein basic's for less than $1000 online.

Wheels that I think that would look good on a tc are RPF1's, Rota torques, BBS LM replicas and those Varrstoen's.

somewhere along the lines of 17 or 18x8.5 +35

torque - Cr-kai reps
