little help w/ lsd question

I got a lsd when I got my ca18det swap and I installed it, but it has 5 bolt splines. My question is which lsd is it? Which car is it from? And maybe if you know that, what's the gearing? Thanks.

should be the higher 4.083 gearing possibly if its out of a CA18DET. You won't know for sure unless you open it up and see what you have. You would need J30 axels to make it work. You could try searching "gearing".

okay, i searched it, no help there...but thanks for the info, i don't think it came from a ca powered car because as i've seen it silvia/180sx lsd have a six bolt axle and the ratio seems to be quite tall in mine, so i think it's either j30 or skyline and the skyline is something low like what 4:41? so i think maybe j30...anyway just pontificating on it, thanks for letting me know which axles i need to look for if i need them

i read the whole thing, seems very informative, but i didn't have any problem putting mine in as it seems to have come from a car without abs, and it bolted straight in. the pumpkin looked the same, too...i did have one problem, it was me and a jack and no one else and they are heavy especially in the benchpress position...anyways, good buy got it w/ axles for $250 from jhot
