ok guys

have a little problem, went to pull my drivers side fender off this morning and found the the bottom is crushed (looks like someone jacked it up on the seam or something)
i cant get to the bolts to take the bottom part of the fender off. my question is what do you think i should do here. i did try to hit it a little with a hammer but that didn't do anything...

Take some pliers and bend it straight easy, because you don't want eff up the alignment of the fender

Do what ^^^ says first. Then, I would saturate the bolts with a spray lubricant, wait a few minutes and re-apply. Then use an impact wrench on the lightest setting to break them free.

this is holding me up from doing my breaks, subframe bushings, control arms, and god only knows what else.

I can't really tell but they look sort of like mine. If they are the same, you should be able to bring it to somewhere like advance auto and just find one that matches rather than guessing and buying off ebay. If not, keep guessing.

America's tire or some other tire shop should have them in stock. I lost mine once...the ones from autozone were like $20 and were in a kit. America's tire just pulled out a bag full of them--got it for $5 or somthin like that.

well it doesn't look like you have america/discount tire near you or a big-O. Also mine was a 6 spline one...didn't see you had a 7 spline til now. What was wrong with the other lug keys you bought? Not the right size?

Just type in "7 spline lug nut key" in google and check the first few results out.

This site has some 7-spline options with pics and dimensions. http://www.brandsport.com/gorewhloke.html

Just figure out which one you have and go from there.

that would be great if i can just get them off i have new ones to put on.

the shops around here all said they can get them off but risk fing the studs up. so i dont really want to do that because i have 20mm bolt on spacers.

Personally I would just take it back to Firestone, if they really did lose your lug key as you say, then they should be responsible for removing the lug nuts by any means necessary and replacing whatever ends up getting broken in the process. my $0.02

looks like i can just make this my question thread?

#3
just got a head for a KA the guy told me the valves are over-sized. they dont look like my other head that is going on my built motor with over-sized valves. seeing as i have never looked at a stock KA head that wasn't pretty much destroyed i could be wrong.

im not sure if you can tell just from looking at a pic but any help would be nice.
