I work at Lake Nissan as a tech well I have this 03 Frontier that I'm working on that has a water leak problem. I found out that it leaks water on the passenger side only when the fresh air duct is open. I pull out the glove box and the micro-filter cover and there is water in there. So I think it is the A/C drain blow it out and water drains out through the drain so it is not plugged. I have taken out the blower motor water every where in the box. I have yet to take off the bottom half of the blower motor box and the heater core box, didn't get a chance to finish it today to many cust waits. I have yet to call the tech line to find out if this has happened before. Any help would be appericated. Thanks

check the seals at the base of the windshield attached to the cowl screen. if those are not correctly positioned it will redirect the flow of water right into the intake duct.

The seals and everything are good I thought there would be some sort of screen or cover on top of the intake duct, man I hate to work on warrenty on a Sat.

no there is no cover it has to do with the channels created by the foam or seals. they are designed to channel the water around the intake area. if one of those seals is not seated or positioned properly the water will spill over into the ducting.
