Arrgg, at work today someone dinged my passenger door . It's pretty small and not very noticable (except by me). I'm thinking if I remove the interior door panel I could pop it out.

Has anyone removed their door panel, any tips?

Ouch. Haven't removed the door panel, but that looks like it can be popped out. If not by you, check out Dent wizard.

Haha, from that picture it looks like your door is perfectly fine... It's the brick wall behind it that got warped

Damn I hate inconsiderate people, then people wonder why I like to take up 2 spaces in parking lots. Just a couple days ago some woman who was parked next to me in a 350z opened her door right onto my passenger door.

Then she was shocked when she heard my car turn on and noticed I was IN THE CAR....

So I backed out and blocked her exit path, then got out but lucky (for her) there was no damage, not even a scratch.

It was a pretty loud bump though.

are you talking about that little device that the "Oxyclean" guy (from the commercials) markets? You know, that guy who talks like he's yelling?

I've seen that little device at an autozone.

Yeah it sure can be popped out, that lilttle device is called pop-a-dent, although i have it and have used it on my camry, i would say to be very careful with the times you do try to pop it out because i overdid it once on my car and now it looks like it has a huge pimple!..lol

pop-a-dent, like the one that uses hot glue and acts similar to a wheel puller? How does the hot glue come off?

Go here and get it fixed.

Dent Clinic - Mississauga#5, 1380 Matheson Blvd E., Mississauga, Ontario L4W 4P8Phone: 905.212.1266

(found that recommendation here)

When you use a PDR specialist, they have way better tools than a pop-a-dent from autozone. When they pull the dent out with hot glue, it will leave a bump, like L.A. Coupe said. But the PDR guy will hammer the dent back flat with his special hammer and pin. This is an art and a skill that you can't replicate. It will look absolutely perfect when finished.

Thanks, I'll check it out, the place is not too far from my work.

I tried the Bondo suction cup dent puller. Didn't work, dent is way too small. No loss though I walked right back in the store and returned it.

Yes use the dent popper from autozone, it should work. The glue just peels right off after a bit. If it doesnt come off your going need to heat up that area and dry ice or dust keyboard cleaner. Those work too, paintless.
