So last monday, on my way to the last day available for my psychology exam, i get into a little fender bender with a HUGE Ford f-250. Coming to an intersection, the road turns into 2 lanes. Approching the light, i go to get into the right hand lane because at the next light there is an unprotected left turn and traffic tends to build up, so i get into the right hand lane, an the truck in front of me proceeds to make a RIGHT turn from the LEFT land, i slam on brakes (which btw did nothing), slide, he hits me, i hit the curb. Now when i say right turn, i mean like, he merged into the driveway of the gas station, on top of me

not to bad, just a few dents and my tire that hit the curb blew out. just the POINT! little V just made a month on the 15th and shes already damaged

Go get an estimate tomorrow, im sure it will be in the 1k seeing as how i will need a new left front panel, headlight, and possible front bumperhttp://i58.photobucket.com/alb...5.jpg

No i had to get a whole new tire, the other one blew and had a hole in it about 3 inches long and 1 inch high, tire rack has our tires for like $41 so i just bought another on instead of having to buy 2. The hubcap, excuse me "wheel cover" lmao flew about 10 yards and surprisingly didn't break. I had to ride on the spare for about 4 days before it was replaced.

Kinda like being sat on by an elephant isn't it? I can just see that big-ole F250 just cutting over on you like he owns the whole road... what an a$$.

Glad you're okay.

I realize that this is probably too little too late, but if he was at fault (which it sounds like he is), you shouldn't have to pay your deductible.

This was the case for me. I had a dumptruck run a red light and destroy my car a few years ago.

It certainly sounds like he was fault: a right hand turn from the left lane. Was he/she charged with making an illegal turn? If so, I have a really old fashion sense of responsibility: if the insurance company won't pay, the driver who was at fault needs to step up and re-imburse you.

Very Good point DreamU. I never even thought of that. If you get into an accident and the other person's at fault, they are legally responsible for the damages not their insurance company. If the insurance company doesn't want to pay, you can take him to court to collect. He could then sue the insurance money to get what he deserves.
