I'm looking to buy a 2006-08 Murano. I was wondering if you might help point out things I should be looking for?
ie.... Known problems...and your opinions on some of the options available....

There really are no major problem spots, the CVT has proven to be very dependable. If you are big into doing performance mods, I would stay away from the Murano, you really don't want to do any turbo or supercharge with the CVT, but other than that you will love it. Very excellent performance, especially coming from an Xterra. Also, there actually was never an '08 made, then went dircectly from an '07 to an '09 model, so you should be able to get a great deal on an '07, and still find one with realatively low mileage.
