Well I just followed what vroom-chirp said I placed the lights in the open position and removed the covers. Then I watched the arms (the thing that bolts directly to the motor) and realized that the one in the drivers side was in a different position from the passenger.

The passenger side was straight up and the other was a little off. Well you just need to unbolt it and put it like the other then bolt it back. In other word when the lights are open both of the control arms must be facing up.... hope this helps, I can get some pics by tomorrow if u need.

One question if you switch to your hi beam lights, are the lights supposed to come all the way up?. My car does it, so im just wondering.

Is there anyway to have it come partially up besides the postition controller? I have driving lights I was planning to install on the underside of the lids and use them as headlights, one for high beam and one for low. Only reason I ask is I dont plan on using the all the heavy brakets and sealed beam headlights.

My driving lights are bright, but relatively small height wise( 3" or less I believe). I was just wondering if it were possible to have them stop at a predetermined height just so my lights would clear and not flip up to the normal sealed beams position.

pretty cool write up.. but seems like you have to readjust it every time you want to have them sleepy.. My set up is a little different. I my relay and customized it.. added some switches.. all i do now is switch it to adjust it.. then just turn on my headlights.. dont even have to touch the headlights at all.. oh yeah.. didnt have to cut any wires or have sleepy eye at all... all stock.. and now sleepy..

I think your looking at slot number 14 ... cause its empty, you need to be looking at slot 15, thats the light control fuse (5 AMP)
