Lit Ingnition key ring

Guys.I noticed the other night while walkin' the Mutt that the green ring around the ignition stays on when the car is shut down.

Is that normal ??

Its only supposed to come on in low light/dark situations when you first get into the car.

thats weird.The car is shut tight, and non of the interior lights are on.I converted them all to 12V Blue LED's awhile back.Wonder if that has anything to do with it.When I came out to leave for work this morning it was still lit. Before I opened the door.Must investigate.
