Here are some of Nissan ECU numbers.

I collected some info on ECU numbers

22 VG30DETT79 CA18DET RWD78 CA18DET FWD60-61-62-63AUTO ARE S13, 62 and 63 are interchangableE5 S13 BLACK TOPWC, NA S14NQ S15BE VG30DE

SOME OF YOU GOT 98 for their ca18dets God knows why.

But I got these numbers of some of the ecus at my buddies place.

ive got both a 98 and 99... both run the car fine.

That is puzzling, may be the year of the car some how made a difference, if any one got other than 98, 99 please post.I think when we get more data we should make it a sticky.

hey everyone who can get a look at their ECU's, post the big # (i.e. 79 or 98) AND the part code (i.e. 23710-36F05) if you can find it on there, and if it has something in the form of A11-B02G48 (thats on my KA24E) then that also, so we can make a master list with as much detail as possible. Also, post model/year it came from if possible and transmission type.

I have a list of random ECUs and their parts codes but not the big #'s and I only A11-B02G48 style listing for 240SX USDM ecus...

The "Assumed" Nismo one is a 78, the small numbers are 2371036F05 and MEC-DO16 then B then stamped in the tin foil 9320

The other ECU thats in my glove box, my spare ECU is a 98top numbers are 2371036F00 the lower left numbers arw MEC-DOO3 D then stamped 6421 This si the ECU that is socketed and the chip just says "BR-ROM"

mine is a 79...and MEC-DO17 then B my mates is a 99 MEC-DO15 then A

only got the swat one now. thats a 99 MEC-DO15 then A.

I picked up another ecu on the weekend from my buddies place, and he said that 98 is a U12 bluebird ecu

thats not right, 98 came in my clip and it had never been removed. it was a 89 180sx.

HUM, interesting, o well, There gotta be a way to identify these suckers 100%, so now I got 3 ecus, 78,79, and 98, soon, I will test all of them to see if they work on the ca18det.

Well the one i got its a number 76 .... Its come from england... maybe there nothing to worry about !?
