Alright guys, I've been juggling between what i want to do with cars lately, mostly my S13. I could either have gone SR20, or bought my buddies 3rd gen Supra with a J-spec single turbo, or I could Tune my current KA24(first i have to restore it (5 wrecks in 2 years finally totaled it..previous owner didn't know what driving was).

I've decided to tune the KA24 instead of the other two. (Supra was Auto, and SR20....to predictable to go) So here's the problem...After purchasing my 05 Impreza (2.5RS...an everyday driver), i have not been to NICO forums in 3 months or so, and I'm extremely rusty on brand names for building. BTW this is gonna be my money pit for the next 2 years

Well, heres the deal; I want to rebuild internals, make the damn thing bulet proof in the piston and cylinder areas, and plop on a full turbo kit (no mix and match, I'm not turbo inclined yet), and finally, do suspension last.

I have an idea what is involved, how much of a beach it is gonna be, but am willing to do it. (mostly, i was inspired by some locals who have 462 HP to the rear Supras' and 318 HP to the rear WRX. they have dyno to prove too)

I have read up on rsBrooke's thread for the most part, and I wanna follow his route, cept i want to rebuild internals first. (BTW Brooke, ur info is great) My problem is, I can't find this BD? Turbo kit he talks of...or is that only FMU? I looked it up on google and got about 30 pages talking about ice climbing screws?

Well long story short..I'm a turbo n00b, no experience in tuning as of yet, but I am a willing fool. I'll staryt researching parts and compiling a list with prices of what i want to get (hopefully I'll have up by end of the night so you guys can tell me how much of an idiot i am for picking certain parts )

I'm open for suggestions and help..in fact I'm begging (and yes I'll be searching threads for ideas too...I know what the search button is)

check out http://www.boostdesigns.com they are most likly the "BD" kit you're talking about. they even sell built motors now.

yes he is running the boostdesigns kit. that would be a good start for a "NooB" like yourself. if you need help on installing im in jersey
