Well I recently had a coolant leak so I had to replace some hoses that connect the outlet pipe to the block. When I ordered the parts I needed, it showed to use this gasket sealant for the thermostat and the outlet pipe area http://www.courtesyparts.com/2....html When I received the sealant it clearly says on it NOT RECOMMENDED FOR USE ON COOLANT/RADIATOR FLUID. So I don't know if I should just use it or if there's a certain type I should buy.

Here you can see where it tells to use that sealant. http://www.courtesyparts.com/3....html

Thanks for any advice!

Thanks for the advice and fast reply. Why do you think they would have this sealant listed for this location if its not the right one?? I mean don't get me wrong, courtesy Nissan is an amazing place if u need parts for a nissan lol but I dunno, guess Ill have some sealant for smthin else if need be and Ill have to go buy some high temp stuff. Thanks again m8.

EDIT: Could you recommend a type I should use. Im seeing so many different types, and none specify for the use of or is coolant resistant. They all seem to says oil and fuel. Theres also a hardend type or flexable type. Im confused O.o

I used the red Permatex for my thermostat and water outlets and haven't had any leaks.
