Liquid gasket and other tools?

Hey,I was reading on how to change your oil seals in FSM for my 95 240sx. It said for the rear main oil seal, you have to apply "liquid gasket", what the heck is that?

Also it says use a "suitable tool" to install your new seals, what is a "suitable tool" to install the seals, can I purchase one somewhere???

liquid gasket can be bought at your local auto parts store,Permatex Ultra Grey would be your best betsuitable tool is something that will work. Its not one particular tool its just a way of saying use something to do this

for installing some seals and especialy pilot bushings, use a socket from a ratchet set and a small hammer
