for those who dont know
forget all the rumors you heard about the versa not coming in 6 speed MT anymore, they will still come in 6MT but only in the S models and no longer in the SL....

That's been known and that is what all the grumbling is about in the forum...that you can't get a manual in a SL package anymore.

rumors have been going around and for some reason people think that are going to stop making the 6 speed altogether... so this was just to clear it up...

I can kinda understand why. If they are selling a ton of SL's with either CVT's and automatics and not 6MT then its probably cheaper to eliminate it from the SL.

Does that mean in the future, 6 spd SL's would be considered the rare Versa's??? hmmmm....now I'm really happy with my SL.

The rarest beast of all is the SL 6MT Sedan. They were produced for only a half year in 2007. yay! my car is rare hahaha ya i have an SL 6sp sedan... it kinda makes me feel special i love my car, looks better with the badges relocated. i just got the versa speed grill and it looks WAY better in person than it does in the pictures. super clean look, ive gotten complements about my car latley.

Looking at the Canadian web site, it looks like the Canadian version of the Versa SL still comes with the 6MT!
