Lines coming off air intake pipe

Hi guys, my KA24DE swap isn't running well and I'm trying to track down everything that could be a problem. One of those things was the SOHC plastic air intake pipe connecting the MAF to the throttle body. Using the SOHC pipe was causing the rubber piece before the throttle body to pinch off a bit. So I've found the KA24DE pipe but I'm trying to figure out what connects to everything. The only one I don't know about is the biggest connection coming off the bottom of the pipe.

Can anyone tell me where it is supposed to lead to? Carbon canister?

if its that then yeah you were right it connects to the egr system. sends unburnt fuel from the exhaust manifold through all that s*** and back into your intake so you dont harm the environment. f*** hippies

Are you talking about the one by the upper rad hose? The large hole on the bottom of the pipe?

If so, it goes to an air box resonator, just plug it up.
