Line?

heya all, i am putting a new header on my 240 and was wondering if you could tell me what the line on the bottom half of the stock exhaust manifold was for? oh yea, it is a '91, Thanks.

You mean like some sort of fluid line? Or electrical connection?

I guess it could be something HICAS related... my car didn't have anything like that, and it was a 91.

are you talking about the aiv or egr lines?

it's hard to answer your question unless you are more descriptive of where that line goes, or take a picture.

well, it is not the egr line cause i kno which one that is, so im gonna have to guess its hte AIV? and whats that for?

oxygen sensor if it's electrical. EGR tube goes into the back of it from the EGR valve which is on the intake side, the AIV tube goes in towards the bottom.I am assuming you are referring to somthng that screws into the mani.
