Line Level Input or RCA+Power Lead

I will be installing a mono amp that allows either a speaker level input connection with a supplied converter or separate RCA/power inputs. The speaker level input seems to provide convenience by having to run less cable. Are there any other benefits or negatives to using the line level converter? Does the non-bose stereo even give me the choice of using the RCA? I have not looked at the back of the headunit yet.

You want to use RCA inputs when you can (source quality). Considering the headunit that you are running off of, you will be using the line-level inputs (it does not give you the RCA option).
