limp mode?

ok i finally got my car on the road today, ran fine at first, then after drivin a lil it started to cut out at 5000 like a rev limiter. but when i test drove it and it wwas dry out it was fine, sooo im thinkin maybe theres water getting into an unpluged connector? car has a 5 spd swap so i kno theres a couple wires underneath that need to be sealed up that arent attached to anything. i just need some insite

I suggest you get those sealed up, and see if the problem persists.
