That "jack it up and spin the wheel" thing is hit and miss. If you leave the trans in neutral, depending on the conditions of various bearings in the drivetrain, both rear wheels might spin the same way. So if you do the test, make sure its in gear. With an open diff, the rear wheels will definitely spin opposite directions, and it''ll be pretty easy to spin them. With a Nissan VLSD, if its cold and/or worn out, you might still be able to spin one wheel and have the other spin the opposite direction, it'll just take more effort to spin them. This is because the viscous coupling doesn't reach full lockup until there's torque applied and the fluid heats up. Were still agreed that most likely you don't have an lsd, but this is the proper explanation of how to test for it
or you could just go and light them up in a brake stand

that'll tell you for sure...
